One of the striking things about orchids is how diverse they are, in size, shape and color. Here is a close-up, for example, of a white and gold orchid, and another of a white with pink orchid.
In terms of pure colored flowers, orchids seem to come in every gradation. They run from pink, for instance, to reddish burgundy, to pinkish purple.
